The stars of Saved by the Bell are currently in 'talks' for a possible reunion show
Ah, Saved By The Bell... one of the most iconic TV shows of the nineties.
We fancied Zack Morris, we wanted to be Kelly Kapowski, and we always loved Screech for being, well, Screech.
And now it seems as though it might actually be returning to our screens (WE KNOW!)
Speaking at Fan EXPO Canada recently, Mario Lopez, who played AC Slater, mentioned that if Saved By The Bell did return, the age of the characters would have to be considered.
"Obviously we couldn’t be in high school still, so you’d have to be creative with the premise. But it’s fun to think about. And who knows? You never say never," he said.
WE'LL TAKE IT!
Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who played the heartthrob that was Zack Morris, added:
"There’s talks, there’s always talks. I just heard recently there’s talks."
Also agreeing that they'd have to be careful with the plot of a reunion show, Elizabeth Berkley, who played Jessie Spano, said it "has to be right".
"We know about it. All three of us know about it, this person that’s going to tackle it," Gosselaar continued.
He also added that if the show reboot was given a green light, he's sure the cast would all be up for it!
"Not yet, but we would like to. We’ve always talked about it."
We have everything crossed that this reboot happens.
