“Some people grow and mature from their Island experience, some don’t.”
Tasha Ghouri’s father has responded to a video which appears to show Jacques O’Neill mocking his daughter during the Love Island finale.
It’s understood that the video came from Jacques’ private Instagram account, and in it, he quotes Davide’s famous line while Tasha makes her final speech to Andrew Le Page.
“You are a liar, actress, get the fuck out,” he said as his camera panned to Tasha.
Since the video gained traction online, many fans have accused Jacques of bullying.
Tarek Ghouri, Tasha’s dad, has also responded to it.
After a fan shared it to Twitter, Tarek wrote: “Some people grow and mature from their Island experience, some don’t. It is what it is.”

He subsequently responded to another fan who wanted to know if Tasha was OK.
He told them: “Tash has seen nothing but support and love and that outweighs anything. You guys have shown her the love. Forwards is the mantra and thank you on behalf of all of us.”
Alongside Andrew, Tasha finished in fourth place in the reality show, behind Dami and Indiyah, Luca and Gemma and Davide and Ekin-Su.
Jacques walked out of the competition on Day 37 after telling his fellow cast members that he felt he couldn’t be himself in the villa. He also shared a statement in which he addressed his behaviour.
“I’ve watched back the episodes that I got the most hate for and listen I understand why I did,” he wrote on Instagram. “I’ve got a lot of work to do for myself to become a better person. I know my family come out and said about my ADHD while I was in the villa bu that is no excuse for me.
“Yes, I might find certain things a lot more difficult than others but at the end of my day I need to take responsibility for my own actions and I’ll hold my hands up.”
