The series will launch on Netflix on Friday, October 26, just in time for the Bank Holiday Weekend - and for Hallowe'en.
Annnnd...well, it doesn't sound much like the Sabrina we've been used to.
OK, it sounds nothing like her at all.
With Kieran Shipka set to take over the role previously played by Melissa Joan Hart, the remake is set to have a gritty, darker tone as it will be based on the horror comic
The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
Speaking of the upcoming show, Netflix said:
"Chilling Adventures of Sabrina imagines the origin and adventures of Sabrina as a dark coming-of-age story that traffics in horror, the occult and, of course, witchcraft.
"Tonally in the vein of Rosemary's Baby and The Exorcist, this adaption finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature - half witch, half mortal - while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit."
