Oh dear.
Love Island fans were heartbroken last night as it emerged that this year's winners, Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer,
had split.
Dani confirmed in
a since-deleted statement that they had "come to the realisation that it's not meant to be long term."
Which made it all the more awkward when the first trailer for the
Love Island Christmas special debuted just a few hours later.
The footage shows the now-former couple cuddled up and exchanging gifts, before cutting to them happily dancing together.

The Christmas reunion - which is due to air on Monday, December 17 - is going to see 19 former Islanders get back together "for one night only".
This year's winners, Jack and Dani, will be there, as well as Wes and Megan, and Adam and Zara. Kaz will be at the reunion solo, as her boyfriend, Josh, won't be able to make it since he is going to be away in the USA.
The scenes are also going to see the previously coupled-up contestants come face-to-face, including this year's runner-ups, Paul and Laura; Georgia and Sam; and Ellie and Charlie.
Samira, Dr. Alex, Alexandra, Kendall, Hayley and Eyal will also be joining the rest of their castmates, spilling on whether or not they have had more luck in love after their stint in the villa.
