Everyone knows Ellen Degeneres loves to dance, but judging by one of this week's appearances it seems tap may not quite be her forte.
On Monday, Katie Holmes dropped by for a visit that culminated in a tap dance lesson.
Holmes appeared on the chat show in promotion of her new film Miss Meadows, in which she stars as a prim and proper elementary school teacher who moonlights as a vigilante. Katie had to learn to tap-dance for the role.
The film was written and directed by Karen Leigh Hopkins, who penned the screenplay for 1998 weepie Stepmom. Miss Meadows does not currently have a European release date but is out now in the US.
