Keeley Ryan

Hello, You.

You co-creator Sera Gamble has teased the start of production on season three of the Netflix hit.

Taking to Twitter on Friday, she sent fans into a frenzy when she shared a behind-the-scenes snap – and confirmed that work on the new season had begun.

“We’ve started work on season 3. Just thought you’d want to know,” she simply wrote alongside the photo, which showed a doormat with Joe’s famous catchphrase.

Last month, Netflix announced that they renewed the thriller for a third season.

The new season, which is set to debut in 2021, will feature 10 all-new episodes. Co-creators Sera Gamble and Greg Berlanti will be returning as executive producers, with Gamble also serving as showrunner.

Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti will be reprising their roles as Joe Goldberg and Love Quinn, with additional casting news to be announced at a later date.

Developed by Sera Gamble & Greg Berlanti, the series is produced by Berlanti Productions, and Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Scripted Television.

You is based on the books You and Hidden Bodies by Caroline Kepnes – with a third novel on the way soon, too.

Berlanti, Gamble, Sarah Schechter, Leslie Morgenstein, Gina Girolamo, Silver Tree, Michael Foley, and Justin Lo serve as executive producers.

The news comes a few weeks after the second season of You arrived on Netflix.

n the second season, Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) moves from New York to Los Angeles to escape his past, and starts over with a new identity. Fresh out of an intense relationship that ended in murder, the last thing he expects is to meet an incredible new woman but he’s falling in love again — with a woman named Love (Victoria Pedretti).
