What’s a gincident, you ask?
It’s usually the Gardaí that are known for having a little bit of craic on Twitter, but now it seems the Dublin Fire Brigade want to go down to comedic route.
Last night, the fire fighters took to Twitter to warn people of ‘gincidents’.
And while we might think a ‘gincident’ is drunk texting an ex, these ‘gincidents’ are much more serious.
The tweet said: “We don’t collate statistics for the phenomenon of #Gincidents.
“We do know however that cooking while a bit tipsy causes injuries and fires. Best leave #Gincidents confined to dancing on tables (which we don’t recommend either) #DrunkCooking.”

Brilliant.
We have to admit that we don’t mind a glass while cooking dinner on a Friday night, but maybe it might be smarter to wait until we’ve finished cooking to start that drink!
Stay safe, ladies.
