Stock images are one of few sources of genuine and legal laughter left in society today.
Working in this current job has introduced me to a world full of stock image subscriptions that I didn’t even know existed. Searching something as ridiculous as ‘identity theft’ results in nearly 5,000 images that range from vaguely appropriate to utterly ridiculous. Look at the floating pair of glasses in the second image, WHAT ON EARTH ARE THEY TRYING TO CONVEY?!
One of my favourite aspects of stock images is how you can manipulate an image into anything your desire, all you need to do is add a sinister caption or work your magic with a hint of Photoshop. With that in mind, here’s my best efforts of making these innocent souls in stock images look like weirdos.
