Ashley Cain warns fans of scam pages set up for baby Azaylia

Cain asked fans not to donate or send gifts to these pages, as they are not being sent on to the family.

Ex on the Beach star Ashley Cain took to Instagram last night to warn fans that a number of fake social media pages have been set up in his daughter’s name.

Cain urged fans not to donate or send gifts to these groups, as they are not associated with the family. He affirmed that updates on Azaylia will only be given through his, or his partner’s social media accounts.

In an Instagram story, Cain wrote:

“Hi guys. We feel really sad that it has come to this but we need to inform all of our supporters that we do not endorse, support or have any affiliation with Facebook pages or groups in Azaylia’s name.

“Any communication from these pages/groups has no authority from us and any gifts sent to these addresses are not being delivered or received by us.

“The only official updates come from mine and my partner’s Instagram pages. Thank you for all of the continued love and support!”

Eight month old Azaylia has been living with a rare form of leukemia for most of her life.

Doctors recently told dad Ashley and mum Safiyya the devastating news that their baby daughter has just days left to live.

In an emotional post on Instagram, Ashley revealed that her tumours have spread around her body, and that the sheer volume of them will make any further treatment difficult.

Earlier this week, Ashley shared that he is not counting down the days, but trying to make the days count.

Safiyya, meanwhile, has described these last few weeks as “torture”, but is ensuring that every single day is “as happy, as playful and as fun as possible” for her daughter.

Just days ago, baby Azaylia received thousands of nominations for the Pride of Britain Award.
