How Low Can You Go? Cheryl Cole Hits Cannes Red Carpet in Very Risqué Gown

She may not have cracked the acting business just yet but that hasn't stopped Cheryl Cole from becoming a firm fixture on the Cannes red carpet. Having shone in previous years with some amazing gowns, we were looking forward to seeing which frock the X Factor judge chose for this year's festival. However, the jury is out on the extremely low-cut black, feathered gown that she wore to a party held by Swiss jeweller De Grisogono last night. The Girls Aloud singer certainly stood out at the party, which was also attended by model of the moment Cara Delevingne, with her unusual dress but while some fashion experts have hailed the daring look as "incredible", we're not entirely convinced! It's understood that Cheryl, who had a cameo role in 2012's What To Expect When You're Expecting, is making the most of her time at the prestigious French film festival in the hopes of taking her career to the big screen. "Cheryl is meeting with studio bosses in Cannes. The festival is the perfect place to meet properly and talk about some of the offers on the table,' a source told The Sun. "She's considering a career on the big screen, of course, but only if the part is right. She wouldn’t go into anything lightly and would make sure she was fully trained and prepped for the job. The problem is now that she has another record ready for release and is back on The X Factor as a judge, any film work would have to be after that."
