An Urban Decay x Game of Thrones collection is officially on the way

Keeley Ryan

Time to channel your inner Khaleesi.

As Game of Thrones fans are no doubt aware, there’s just a few months to go until the final season hits our telly screens.

The HBO epic will be back for its eighth season on April 14, and we can’t wait.

Amid all of the spoilers, ominous warnings from cast members, fan theories and brief (and we mean brief) glimpses of season eight, there’s some good news.

Like, really, really good news. Or, at least, something else to look forward to this April.

Urban Decay have announced that they are launching a Game of Thrones-inspired collaboration.

The company sent Game of Thrones fans into overdrive on Friday when they shared a series of fire-and-ice themed teasers on Instagram.

The teasers seem to hint at icy blues, teal and cobalt shadows (inspired by Daenerys, maybe?) and some warm, golden hues (definitely Cersei, we’re guessing – or at least the Lannisters).

No products have been revealed just yet, but imagine the possibilities.

We’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for Winterfell and House Stark, so we’ve got our fingers crossed there will be some products inspired by them.

And how cool would something inspired by House Tyrell or Highgarden be? Or even Dorne?

We reached out the company to find out a bit more about what fans can expect when the collection does arrive – and it sounds like it’ll be the best thing since Jon Snow and Daenerys finally met.

A spokesperson told us:

“We’ve partnered with HBO to create the Urban Decay | Game of Thrones collection, inspired by our favorite places in Westeros and the strong women of the Seven Kingdoms.

“We are excited for this partnership and look forward to sharing more details in the coming months.”

There’s no exact release date for the collection available just yet. However, the Instagram teasers say it will arrive in April 2019.
