Actor Patrick Dempsey and his wife Jillian Fink are heading for divorce after 15 years of marriage.
Radar Online reports that she filed the papers citing irreconcilable differences and is seeking joint custody of their children as well as spousal and child support.
A representative for the couple is said to have confirmed the split to Us Weekly in a joint statement.
It read: “It is with careful consideration and mutual respect that we have decided to end our marriage.
“Our primary concern remains the wellbeing of our children, and we ask with profound gratitude that you respect our family’s privacy at this very sensitive time.”
Patrick and Jillian tied the knot back in 1999. They have three children together (12-year-old Tallulah Fyfe and seven-year-old twins Sullivan Patrick and Darby Galen).
Patrick and Jillian have been married for 15 years.
