Alexandra Burke has announced that she is pregnant with her second child with Irish footballer Darren Randolph.
The couple welcomed their first child together only nine months ago in July, and now have number two on the way.
The X Factor star shared the happy news on Instagram on Tuesday, saying: “We are so excited to do this all again.”
Along with the post, the singer shared some sweet pictures of her maternity shoot.
While Alexandra and Darren are excited to be parents a second time, the two tend to keep their baby out of the limelight.
She has been praised for explaining exactly why she keeps details of her baby’s life private.

The X Factor star appeared on Loose Women to discuss motherhood and music, and she was asked about her decision not to reveal her child’s sex or name.
To this, she said: “I’ve never really spoken about this. Obviously, I come from X Factor and that’s a public show. I’m very grateful for the platform that’s made me who I am today.
“In the process – I hate getting emotional talking about this. In the process of me being who I am – I asked for all this but my family never.”
She went on to explain her desire to protect her child and their privacy.
“I wanna protect the baby as much as I can and let the baby make its own decision. I don’t wanna hurt anyone in the process of who I am and the life that I’ve chosen.”
