American Actor’s Wife Files for Divorce After Nearly 15 Years Together

Actor and star of Sons of Anarchy, Adam Arkin is heading for the divorce court.

Arkin’s wife of nearly 15 years, Phyllis Lyons has filed for divorce in a LA County Superior Court.

She cited irreconcilable differences as her reasoning for the split.

The couple wed back in 1998 and have one son together, 8-year-old Emmet.

It is reported that Lyons, 52, has filed for joint and legal custody of the boy.

According to People.com, the split happened on Monday and Lyons has filed to block the court from awarding Arkin spousal support.

A seasoned actor, Adam has starred in movies like Hitch and appearanced in TV shows like The Newsroom, The West Wing and Chicago Hope.

Adam is the son of Alan Arkin, the Oscar-winning actor who starred in great films like Little Miss Sunshine and Argo.
