American Horror Story: Coven actress Gabourey Sidibe suffered cruel jibes about her plus-size figure when walking the red carpet at Monday night's Golden Globes ceremony. Comments criticising Sidibe, whose performance in 2009 film Precious earned her an Oscar nomination, were posted on social-networking site Twitter. While speaking at the Women In Entertainment Symposium in 2012, the actress said, " When I was 21 or 22 I just decided that life wasn’t worth living if I wasn’t happy with myself so I just took all the steps that I could to figure out how to love myself and become confident."
