The celebrity nude photo leak scandal caused a huge backlash online, with a number of celebrities stepping forward to voice their anger and outrage at the invasion of privacy.

The leak caused further debate when is was announced that stars such as Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton were to feature in an exhibition No Delete.

The exhibition, open to the public in the Warehouse Arts District in Saint Petersburg, Florida on October 30th, will display a collection built up over seven years by the artists using images found on Google. They show celebrities in their most private moments, taken by the paparazzi or hackers.

Andrew Garfield has since spoken out against the hacking scandal.

The actor, who dates Emma Stone, argued against the use and sharing of the images by media, saying:

“It’s disgusting. I have a right to your naked body or images that you’ve sent to your husband, or lover. It’s disgusting.

“It’s violent, and it’s misogynistic, and it’s revolting, and it’s another example of what this distance has enabled us to do – it’s enabled us to be disassociated from each other.”

“There’s enough awful shit coming from it that hopefully we’ll get to the point of, ‘OK, wait a second.’ What’s scary is that we haven’t reached that point yet, and there hasn’t been a referendum put on it. The Internet is the new Wild West. There’s a guy now taking these pictures and putting them up in an art gallery. What f*cking right does he have to do that? It’s absolutely revolting.”

Now that is a man. We’re officially in love.
