And it’s definitely not Ed Sheeran.

Preparations for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding are well and truly under way.

And with the May 19 nuptials quickly approaching, more and more rumoured wedding details are beginning to pop up.

We’ve heard everything from which designers are in the running to create Meghan’s wedding dress to who will reportedly be walking her down the aisle.

But another detail of their big day looks to have emerged this week – who will be playing at the couple’s nuptials?

The rumour mill was sent into overdrive this month when reports emerged that Ed Sheeran would be performing at the couple’s wedding.

However, it looks like it may be the recently reunited Spice Girls who are performing.

Mel B appeared to let the secret slip during an appearance on The Real on Tuesday, when she confirmed that she and her bandmates would be attending the wedding.

It all began when host Loni Love asked the singer if she knew anyone who would be going to the wedding, which prompted her to give a small nod.

And the rest of the hosts erupted into cheers when she realised that meant that she was going – and Mel was quick to make the news even better.

Confirming that Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Melanie Chisholm would also be in attendance, she said:

“All five Spice Girls are. Why am I so honest?”

But when she was quizzed if that meant the recently-reunited girl group would be performing at the royal wedding, Mel was slightly less willing to spill the beans.

Throwing her talking cards into the air, she said:

“This is where I’m just…

“I need to go, I’m going to be fired.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are due to marry at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19.

The church is much smaller than Westminster Abbey in London where Kate and William got married in 2011 (a capacity of 800 as opposed to 2,000), but it won’t be the first time a royal couple have wed there.

Most recently, Peter Phillips, Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips’ son, married Autumn Kelly there in 2008.
