Ariana Grande opens up about the impact of ‘Thank U, Next’ one year on

Olivia Hayes

It’s been one year since we were hit with Thank U, Next.

After a tumultuous few years for the singer, including the death of her former boyfriend Mac Miller and a publicised break up from her fiancé Pete Davidson, Ariana came out with Thank U, Next and it completely blew up.

With songs such as 7 Rings, Break Up With Your Boyfriend, Imagine and Needy – to most it was the album of the year and made an impact to many lives – but it probably made the most impact to Ariana herself.

On the anniversary of its debut, the superstar took to Twitter to share how much the album meant to her.

She tweeted that while it’s been a “productive, emotional and wild” year, it has also been a “happy” one and even though she has “learned and healed” so much, she still has a long way to go.

She thanked her fans as well, saying that they will never “understand just how much” she loves them.
