Reality TV star and footballer Ashley first shared the news of his daughter’s leukaemia back in October, revealing she had a “rare and aggressive form of cancer.”

The family had planned to move to Singapore for CAR T-cell therapy, which became no longer feasible given the discovery of their daughter’s tumours.

“So, that means we’re going back home,” Ashley said at the time. “We’re going back home and we’re gonna try and make our baby as comfortable as possible. We’re gonna be strong, and we’re gonna go out with honour.”

Baby Azaylia was rushed to hospital twice over the past week following various complications due to her condition.

Dad Ashley documented both journeys, the first taking his daughter to the hospital for an emergency blood transfusion, and the second when her heart rate “sky rocketed” to 200 beats per minute.

Ashley said at the time that he was hopeful the transfusion would give his daughter some extra days to live.

“Despite what’s going on, I truly feel blessed that I get to spend these days with the best thing that ever happened to me,” he said. “They will stay with me in my heart forever!”

Our thoughts are with the family during this difficult time.
