A huge congratulations to the whole family!
Mikey Graham, of Boyzone fame, has become a grandfather.
Taking to Twitter, the 49-year-old singer shared that his daughter Hannah has given birth to a baby girl, his first grandchild.
He wrote: “Well guys hope your all doing well [sic]. Thankfully life has been nothing but wonderful to me the last three weeks since the birth of my absolutely stunningly beautiful granddaughter BONNIE.”
Mikey added: “My eldest daughter Hannah brought her into the world on February 2nd & all is well.”
He then thanked everyone for their kind messages of congratulations, and admitted that while he tends to keep his personal life private, he couldn’t resist sharing this happy news.

He said: “Thank you so much for all the lovely comments. As you know I tend to be a very private man but I had to share this good news with all you wonderful fans.”
He then added that it’s “nice to have some good news to share for a change”.
Mikey later joked that he is the first of the 90s boyband era to become a grandfather. In a follow-up tweet he wrote: “Think I might possibly be the first boyband grandad even going back as far as the New kids on the block. Lol. Some one else can fact check that one.”
As well as being a grandfather to the Graham family’s latest arrival Bonnie and father to daughter Hannah, the Boyzone alum is also the proud dad of his daughter Sienna Nicole who was born in 2006.
After two decades apart, Boyzone released their final album, Thank You & Goodnight in 2018. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like any sort of reunion is on the cards, as Mikey told a fan recently that while he would “love” to do a reunion tour, Ronan Keating decided that Boyzone was “finished” in 2019.
Ah well Mikey, plenty more time to spend with your granddaughter!
