The singer’s Instagram page was completely wiped last night.
Fans of Britney Spears were worried last night after it seemed the star’s Instagram page had been deleted.
While the account’s name and profile picture are still there, everything else seems to have been wiped, including her posts, followers and the people she followed.
Some were concerned the deletion was related to her ongoing conservatorship case, while others thought Instagram may have banned her. The star had recently been sharing images of herself in more revealing poses, and some fans worried that she may have been censored by the social media platform.
Thankfully, it seems Britney is just taking a little break from posting to celebrate her recent engagement.
Taking to Twitter, Britney cleared the air and assuaged her fans’ concerns.
She wrote: “Don’t worry folks … just taking a little break from social media to celebrate my engagement. I’ll be back soon”

Earlier this week, Britney announced that she was engaged to her longterm boyfriend Sam Asghari.
The singer showed off her new engagement ring on Instagram.
In the caption, she wrote: “I can’t fucking believe it !!!!!”
The diamond ring is engaged with the word “lioness”, which, according to Forever Diamonds NY, is his nickname for her.
On his own account, Sam posted a picture of the two of them kissing, with Britney’s ring finger outstretched.
In his story, Sam joked about getting a prenup.
He wrote: “Thank you everyone who is concerned about the prenup!
“Of course we’re getting iron clad prenup to protect my jeep and shoe collection in case she dumps me one day.”
Their engagement news comes just days after the singer’s father officially asked for her conservatorship to end. On 7 September, Jamie Spears filed a petition to end the arrangement, which has been in place for the past 13 years.
