Britney Spears Spends Ridiculous Amounts of Money on Justin Timberlake…

Ladies, we have a question to ask you and we want you to answer it honestly. Would you ever spend €12,000 on a present for your ex-boyfriend and his new fiancé? No? Yeah, we thought so.

Needless to say, a few eyebrows were raised around the Her.ie office when we heard that Britney Spears has only gone and splashed the cash on her ex, Justin Timberlake, and his new misses-to-be, Jessica Biel.

Britney has reportedly spent just over €12,000 on a holiday voucher for a week’s stay at a private island for Justin and Jessica as a way to “thank Justin for always being there for her.”

If that wasn’t weird enough, it’s said that Britney’s own man, Jason Trawick, has no idea that Britney has spent so much money on her ex and it is believed that he would be “livid” if he knew.

“Jason has no idea. Brit’s been reaching out to a lot of old friends and is trying to build bridges,” said a source, speaking to Now magazine.

“But Jason doesn’t trust her friends. He thinks she’s still too unstable for a regular life,” the source added.

Apparently Britney has been busy reflecting on the past few years of her life recently and the gesture is thought to be a way of showing Justin that she will always care about him and appreciate everything he has done for her over the years.

We have to admit, it is a nice gesture, but seriously Britney, surely a ‘thank you’ card would have sufficed?
