Bugzy Malone and Gemma Owen shut down rumours they’re dating

It's not happening, guys.

After reports emerged that Gemma Owen and Bugzy Malone are dating, both the Love Island star and the rapper have shut the speculation down. Bugzy responded to the rumours by taking to his Instagram and tagging Gemma's dad, footballer Michael Owen. In his caption, he wrote: "@michaelowen your daughter looks lovely rkid, but 19 just isn't my cup of tea or coffee. Someone go tell @thesun to BEHAVE." Gemma also told the MailOnline that she has never even met Bugzy. She said: "I have never met or spoken to him and we don't follow each other on social media. I am not dating and I'm definitely single. The dressage rider went on to say that her priority right now is to just focus on herself. "Just after Christmas, I had much needed time with my family and friends and I am working on myself," she said. "I am not going to date anytime soon and I'm not looking." She added that "being content in herself" is her current focus, as well as spending time with friends and family. Gemma competed on last year's Love Island, and finished in second place with Luca Bish, behind Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu. The pair became official in the weeks after leaving the villa, but they announced that they had decided to call time on their relationship in autumn. At the time, she took to Instagram to announce the news. She said: "To all my followers, I wanted to let you know that Luca and I are no longer in a relationship. It wasn't an easy decision but ultimately this is what is best for both of us right now. "Many of you have been on this journey with us from the very beginning and I want to thank you for your continued support as we start new chapters. Love always, Gem x."
