So many Love Island couples have broken up lately.
At the end of last month, Megan Barton-Hanson announced that it was with "hearts full of sadness"
that she confirmed her split from Wes Nelson.
Then, Kaz Crossley and Josh Denzel revealed they had broken up, saying that
things "didn't go as planned."
And Zara McDermott confirmed on Instagram stories that she and Adam Collard had split,
after the pair were said to be "on the rocks."
The recent spate of separations led fans to become
convinced that the couples had all
signed six-month contracts to stay together post-show.
From
former contestants to
Love Island voiceover man Iain Stirling, everyone has been weighing in on why so many couples have gone their separate ways recently.
Now, Caroline Flack has told how she has her own theory on why so many former
Love Island contestants have called it quits lately.

The
Love Island host reckons it's not anything to do with the conspiracy theory doing the rounds - which you can
read more about here - but something much more simple.
Speaking at the BRIT Awards earlier this week, she told
Cosomopolitan:
"It's break-up season. You have the three month itch, then the seven month itch. There we go!"
She added there was one couple in particular she was surprised to hear had split - and was "secretly hoping" they would get back together.
She said:
"I was surprised about Zara and Adam, I'm secretly hoping they're going to get back together."

Love Island couples are still together? You can read more about that
