Colin Firth’s Wife Wants Him to Reprise Mark Darcy Role

Colin Firth’s wife has come out and said that she would like to see him return to play Mark Darcy in another Bridget Jones’ Diary film.

In an interview with Marie Claire magazine the Oscar winner’s wife Livia Firth said ‘I hope he’ll do another… I’m pushing for it!’

And we couldn’t agree with her more. Colin Firth is one of the few actors who is able to do both romantic and serious roles with equal success. He swings with such ease from Love Actually to The King’s Speech and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

Don’t get us wrong we love the films that Colin has been appearing in of late but we also love a good romantic comedy.

Fingers crossed they get that third instalment of Bridget Jones’ Diary moving along quickly for our own sake and that of Livia’s!
