CONFIRMED: Caroline Flack to Front Returning Reality TV Show

This is a big coup for the former Xtra Factor presenter!

Caroline Flack made her name through the likes of I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here Now, The Xtra Factor and Strictly Come Dancing

So, it’s probably no surprise that the 35-year-old’s next turn in front of camera will once again involve reality TV.

Flack is set to present the new-look Love Island, which returns to ITV2 in a revamped format later this year.

For those unfamiliar with the original incarnation, Celebrity Love Island ran for two seasons between 2005 and 2006. Presented by Patrick Kielty and Kelly Brook, the show saw single celebrities ensconced on an exotic island resort – in the hopes of seeing a few romantic pairings.

Who could forget the sight of Jayne Middlemiss sobbing her heart out to camera because Lee Sharp hooked up with Abi Titmuss?

The news of Flack’s appointment comes amid strong rumours that she and former Xtra Factor co-host Olly Murs will take over from Dermot O’Leary on The X Factor.

She said: “I can’t wait to host the revamped Love Island. I was a massive fan of the original show, and I’m sure this is going to be one crazy, love-fuelled island.

“I can’t really think of a better way to spend a summer – here’s hoping it’s a scorcher!”
