Curtis says giving Maura ‘space’ is what makes their relationship work

It makes sense.

While being all loved up is great and you might want to see your other half every day of the week, giving them space to do what they love is definitely needed.

We all need to concentrate on our own things; our hobbies, seeing friends, catching up on our favourite TV shows and just general ‘me-time’.

It seems like Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins have the whole thing down to a T as he revealed that giving each other space is what makes their relationship work.

The best nights are the ones spent with you❤️

While speaking to The Sun at the Pride of Britain Awards last night, Curtis said: “We don’t let anyone else influence it. When we came out everyone was saying ‘why aren’t you making it official? Why aren’t you posting more on social media?’

“We just want to chill out and take it easy. We’ve only known each other three and a half months. We are just enjoying what’s what,” he explained.

“I allow her to do all of the things that she wants to do and she allows me the same. That gives us space. Then when we come and see each other, we really miss each other.”

The pair have been going from strength to strength since leaving Love Island and both have big things coming for them. Maura recently launched her own podcast with Boohoo and is also taking part on Dancing On Ice.
