Love Island star Davide Sanclimenti has finally addressed the video that has gone viral of him getting into a taxi with two girls while his girlfriend Ekin-Su was away. Ekin-Su Cülcüloglu was in Los Angeles shooting a promo video for her collection with OhPolly when the video was taken. The video showed Davide getting into a taxi after a night out with two girls, and neither was his girlfriend leading many to speculate he was cheating. Speaking on This Morning today, Davide spoke about the rumours and the video, shutting down any speculation. “You know what, I laughed it off actually,” Davide explained. Appearing on the show with Ekin-Su, she said that friends and family had swarmed her phone with messages of the video but her mind was put at ease when she spoke to Davide who explained the situation. Despite being voted the least compatible couple by their fellow islanders, Ekinde one the hearts of the British public, and in the end, they didn't just win the show, they won by a landslide. Figures from ITV show that Ekin-Su and Davide received a whopper 63.69% of the public vote, ahead of Luca and Gemma (14.47%), Dami and Indiyah (11.77%), and Tasha and Andrew (10.07%). Ekinde scooped the grand prize of £50,000 but they have no intention of slowing down anytime soon. Over the weekend, and much to the delight of Love Island fans, the pair announced that they will be getting their own road-trip show in which they visit their homelands on ITV2. Davide said: "We are going on a road trip to Italy and Turkey, for one week in Italy and one week in Turkey. We are going to be on ITV2 and it's going to be like our own show." Ekin-Su gave fans more details on what to expect, saying: "It'll be all real fighting. I'll be cooking for him, he'll be cooking for me. It'll be two cultures, meeting families."
