Denis Sulta, partner of Saoirse-Monica Jackson, had a cameo in the final episode of Derry Girls. The DJ played a bouncer who appears only briefly when he chucks Erin, Saoirse's character, and the gang out of a Halloween party. Taking to Instagram on Wednesday before the hour-long special, Denis said he "couldn't be prouder" of his girlfriend and hoped everyone caught his appearance in the episode the night before. He wrote: "Tonight marks the end of an INCREDIBLE moment in TV history. "The final hour long special episode of Derry Girls airs tonight at 9pm on Channel 4! "I couldn’t be more proud of my favourite Derry Girl @saoirsemonicajackson for putting her heart and soul into this. "Hope you all caught the Sulta cameo last night, been in clubs all my adult life, but never had the chance to kick anyone out. "CHUFFED, PROUD & UTTERLY BUZZING!" Fans took to the comments to congratulate him on the surprise cameo and share their love for the pair. "Aaah this is amazing you two. Loving this season," one person said. "Monumental stuff!" another wrote. Derry Girls fans were left shocked earlier this month to find out Dennis and Saoirse were a couple. The pair have been dating for several months, but after a tweet about their relationship went viral last week, many fans only learnt about the two for the first time. The tweet read: "There are some random celebrity couples out there but Denis Sulta and Erin from Derry Girls takes the cake." The Irish actress and the Scottish DJ went Instagram official last September, after Saoirse posted two snaps of herself with him on their holidays. The pair enjoyed some time together at the Monachyle Mhor Hotel in Scotland.
