Joan Rivers has unleashed her unique brand of b*tchiness again – telling Howard Stern’s radio show that Lena Dunham is encouraging girls and young people to ‘stay fat’.

Rivers unleashed abuse on Lena during the interview, claiming the show promotes unhealthy attitudes to body image. Despite calling her ‘terrific’, Rivers criticised the star and GIRLS for portraying women she classes ‘overweight’:

‘It’s OK. Stay fat. Get diabetes. Everybody die. Lose your fingers.'”

Rivers, who said she ‘just can’t’ watch the hit show, advised the actress to change the current messaging of the TV series. The 80 year old slammed Lena’s fashion choices, arguing:

“Don’t say it’s OK that other girls can look like this. Try to look better.”

The Fashion Police presenter continued to blast Dunham on her controversial Vogue cover, saying she shouldn’t have appeared in the magazine because she didn’t deserve it based on her physical appearance.

Lena is yet to hit back at the cheap comments. Listen to the full interview below.
