Eh…Who Are You? Niall Horan Left Red-Faced as Bouncer Fails to Recognise Him

Niall Horan, of One Direction fame, was left seriously red-faced this weekend after bouncers at a nightclub told him to move on because he wasn’t getting in.

The most embarrassing part about this story? Well, Niall was actually trying to get into his bandmate, Liam Payne’s, birthday party. Morto!

The Irish Sun reports that Niall was stopped at the door of a London nightclub as Liam partied away inside, celebrating his 19th birthday.

Apparently rather than turning up on time with the rest of One Direction, Niall decided to show up fashionably late but unfortunately for him, his plan backfired and he struggled to convince the bouncer on duty that he was a part of the multi-million record selling boy band.

According to reports, poor Niall was left stunned when the door staff told him “not tonight.” Yikes!

But the good news is that after a bit of discussion, he finally managed to blag his way inside.

Birthday boy: Liam was celebrating his 19th birthday at a club in London.

“Niall arrived at the club a bit later than the rest and had some difficulty getting in at the beginning, but he took it well and had a laugh about it,” said a witness.

“The bouncers didn’t seem to recognise him but it was quickly sorted out and he went in,” the witness added.

Now, call us crazy, but seriously – surely someone would have immediately recognised Niall? He is part of one of the biggest boy bands in the world right now, isn’t he?

Anyway, we bet he’s glad he finally managed to get in to Liam’s party, as according to reports, the nightclub was absolutely jammers and the champagne was flowing.

The boys of One Direction apparently sprayed magnums of champagne over the birthday boy and his guests while Tom & Jerry cupcakes were thrown around the place when a food fight broke out in the nightclub.

It sounds like a great night and it’s safe to say that Liam definitely knows how to throw a party. Clearly our invites got lost in the post…
