Eva Longoria is extremely proud of her friend Victoria Beckham after The Spice Girls reunited for the closing ceremony of the Olympic games.

Victoria took to the stage with Mel C, Emma Bunton, Mel B and Geri Halliwell for the highly anticipated performance at the high profile event.

Eva Longoria took to her Twitter to congratulate her friend for giving a fantastic performance.

Eva and Victoria became friends when the Beckhams moved to Los Angeles

“So proud of my girl @victoriabeckham on the closing ceremony for the Olympics! What an hour and she looked amazing,” she wrote.

The pair have become close friends since the Beckhams moved to Los Angeles. Victoria and David even asked Eva to be Harper Seven’s godmother.

The performance sparked many congratulatory tweets including one from La Toya Jackson.

The Spice Girls performed their old favourites including Spice Up Your Life as they jetted around the Olympic stadium on the top of black taxicabs.
