Previously on Love Island...

Last night's Love Island reunion was heated, to say the least. Old flames reunited for a stiff, awkward "chat" which ended in more tears, no actual justice for either party and the take-home message that they are most definitely better off apart. The special saw both Sam and Ellie frustrated by their exes clouded truth while Georgia and Charlie tried their best to initially avoid all contact but then, when it was time to talk, it was easy to tell their minds were elsewhere. However, not all islanders reunited in the same heated manner. As Laura Anderson and Paul Knopps too sat down to discuss their past relationship and the 29-year-old is now receiving serious praise for the way she handled it. Having been dumped by Paul before she admits he even "gave the relationship a chance", Laura still acted very maturely about the whole situation as the pair sat on the stairs of the winter villa to discuss. Both Laura and Paul remained calm during the whole chat admitting that it obviously just wasn't meant to be and now, they're happy for each other.

But it wasn't all sorrow during the special as one spark was found amongst the contestants with Eyal and Kendall sharing a cheeky kiss and admitting it's not the first one. However, fans aren't convinced that the love is real with many rushing to Twitter to add that they think it's all a fix.
