Fair City's George McMahon marries longtime girlfriend Rachel Smyth
Keith Duffy officiated the marriage.
A huge congratulations is in order for George McMahon - he has just tied to knot to his longtime girlfriend, Rachel Smyth.
The pair married in a humanist ceremony at a remote farmhouse near Nerja in Spain and invited close family and friends - as well as a few Fair City stars which included newlyweds Jenny Dixon and Tom Neville.
In a twist that we didn't see coming, Boyzone singer Keith Duffy officiated the marriage, wearing a white t-shirt and blue waistcoat to do it.
Married the love of my life @RachelDancer87 on Thursday. The most incredible week with family and friends. Thank you for all the lovely messages and well wishes.

George told the Sunday World: "It was genuinely the best day of our lives, it was just brilliant from start to finish."
“People were saying to me, ‘Are you alright George, you’re going to wear the soles out of your feet,’ I was just pacing and pacing and pacing,” he said.
George and Rachel share a 14-month-old daughter, Frankie, who was a flower girl on the day and walked down the aisle just before her mum did.
“As soon as I saw Frankie walking up the aisle I broke down crying. Then when everyone saw me breaking down, everyone else started crying.
"Then Rachel followed and I thought she looked absolutely stunning. I thought I was invisible behind my shades, but everyone was like, ‘No we saw you crying’.”
