Gaz Beadle’s girlfriend Emma McVey targeted by trolls over weight

Gaz Beadle's pregnant girlfriend Emma McVey has been targeted by social media users over her weight, with some claiming she is "too skinny".

The model and the Geordie Shore star confirmed they were expecting their first child together last month, with Gaz saying he "couldn't wait" to be a dad. The soon-to-be-mum, who is more than halfway into her pregnancy, shared a photo of herself and the Geordie Shore star celebrating her birthday. She wrote alongside it:

"I've had the best birthday with you! Thank you for my amazing presents and evening @gazgshore."

Another person questioned if she was unwell, adding:

"You are four months pregnant and you're so skinny - it's really not good. Take care of yourself."

But some fans were quick to rush to the mum-to-be's defence, posting out the position of her long hair. Someone commented:

"Her hair is covering most of her neck and it's the angle of the pic! "I think she looks absolutely stunning for being pregnant.. she's a nice healthy pregnant and it's her first so stomach muscles are a lot stronger at holding things in place. "Good luck to her and gaz, she's a beaut and so will their little one be!"

Another blunt commenter said:

"Half her bloody hair is hanging over the back side of her neck, her beck isn't actually that skinny!"
