The star posted an Instagram showing her excitement to pack up and leave for the big apple saying: "So excited to finally tell you all I have landed first AMERICAN JOB so so excited NY CITY here I come

According to The Sun, Gemma will be working on the show’s social media involving different campaigns for the TV series, with Netflix bosses reportedly impressed by the Essex girl’s huge online following and hilarious presence - we can't say we don't agree.
Unfortunately it will be all behind-the-scenes work for Gemma and she won't be joining the cast on the screen (for now), but who knows what the future may hold, we could see Gemma entering Litchfield as the newest inmate any day soon now.
