Britney’s back.
Britney Spears has made her triumphant return to Instagram after she deactivated her social media account last week.
After claiming she was taking a break from the photo sharing app to allow her to celebrate her engagement to Sam Asghari, she clearly couldn’t stay off the app for too long.
Promising at the time she wouldn’t be gone for long, fans were shocked with just how soon she decided to make her return.
Posting two different selfies, one in black and white and the other in colour, the pop star was posing for Instagram in Palm Springs.

She captioned the post: “Some shots from my weekend getaway to celebrate my engagement with my … holy s*** … FIANCE … I still can’t believe it !!!! I couldn’t stay away from the gram too long so I’m back already !!!! Psss I took these in Palm Springs with clip in extensions !!!!!”
Britney’s fans began to worry last week after it seemed the star’s Instagram page had been deleted.
While the account’s name and profile picture were still there, everything else seems to have been wiped, including her posts, followers and the people she followed.
Some were concerned the deletion was related to her ongoing conservatorship case, while others thought Instagram may have banned her. The star had recently been sharing images of herself in more revealing poses, and some fans worried that she may have been censored by the social media platform.

Thankfully, it seems Britney revealed she was just taking a little break from posting to celebrate her recent engagement.
Taking to Twitter, Britney cleared the air and assuaged her fans’ concerns.
She wrote: “Don’t worry folks … just taking a little break from social media to celebrate my engagement. I’ll be back soon”
