We could have SEEN them!

If you’re a prince and princess-in-waiting – the likes of fancy-pants private jets must be pretty standard.

Still, when Harry and Meghan travelled to the French Riviera for New Year’s – they did so via an economy flight from Heathrow to Nice.

Their chosen airline? British Airways.

The engaged duo didn’t even book special seats – they were sitting down the back by the toilets.

However, DailyMail.com does add that “in an attempt to remain incognito, the pair boarded their 9.55am flight before any other passengers”.

The website also reports: “They also took up three rows of economy seats, either side of the aisle, even though there were only themselves and three ‘edgy and nervous’ bodyguards in their party.”

Which admittedly is not how we usually travel.

That and when Harry and Meghan landed, two heavily armed French police officers whisked them out through a VIP area.

The couple were ringing in the New Year with close friends at a sprawling private chateau in the Riviera region.

Meghan, 36, spent Christmas with the British royal family… something which goes against long-standing tradition: royal brides – including the former Kate Middleton – usually wait until after they say ‘I do’ before being formally indoctrinated into the historic clan.

She and Harry, 33, will marry at St George’s Chapel in Windsor on May 19 this year.
