Here’s Prince Charles’ precious message for fans after Harry and Meghan’s baby news broke

He's clearly excited to be a grandfather again.

Prince Charles is getting ready to welcome his fourth grandchild after the news broke in mid-October that Harry and Meghan were expecting their first child due in spring 2019. Putting pen to paper, royal fans wrote to Prince Charles to congratulate him on the news that he would become a grandfather again and his response is very sweet. In an image shared by Crown Replies, Clarence House on behalf of Prince Charles sent the following message to fans...

"The Prince of Wales asked me to thank you for your recent letter, which you have sent following the announcement that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting their first child. His Royal Highness is grateful to you for taking the trouble to write as you did, he was touched by your kind words of support and has asked me to send you his warmest thanks and very best wishes."

This letter follows the news that when Prince Charles first heard of the pregnancy, he "toasted several times" in celebration that the royal family was set to expand yet again. Too cute. And in images from Prince Charle's 70 birthday alongside BBC's documentary, "Prince, Son and Heir: Charles at 70" it's clear to see Prince Charle's loves his role as grandfather seen playing with Prince Louis and also with George sitting on his knee.
