Actor Idris Elba and his partner, make-up artist Naiyana Garth, have announced the birth of their first child.
Their baby boy, Winston was born on Thursday and Elba posted the below snap to Twitter yesterday captioning it: “My Son Winston Elba was born yesterday. Truly Amazing :-).”
Winston is thought to be named after the actor’s late father.
Elba, well known for his roles in TV series The Wire and films Prometheus and Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, also has a daughter, Isan, with his ex-wife, Hanne ‘Kim’ Norgaard.
