A press release from the broadcaster stated that : "Louise Duffy has been a tremendous presenter on Today FM since she joined the full-time on air team three years ago. Louise has a growing fan base because of her natural, warm and engaging personality. She has honed her broadcasting chops in a very difficult part of the day (5-7am weekdays), where in the last year alone, she has grown the base by over 40%."
Duffy has commented that she is delighted with the position: “I am delighted to take over the lunchtime show on Today FM. It's a marvellous opportunity, and one which I'm so grateful for. I love being part of the Today FM team. It's a great place to work, and after three years on early breakfast, I'm so excited about this new challenge and can’t wait to getting started!”
Louise will take over as the Lunchtime presenter at the end of March.
