It’s A Girl! Amy Huberman Gives Birth & Now Brian Has to Go Play A Rugby Match

We all know that new parents are busy people, but we feel for Brian O’Driscoll. According to hundreds of well-wishers on Twitter, Amy Huberman gave birth to a bouncing baby girl this morning and now the poor new dad has to head off and play a match. It’s a tough life, wha?

Amy previously said that her worst nightmare would be going into labour at the Irish Film and Television Awards last night. Thankfully that's not what happened, but it seems baby Huberbod decided to show face soon after.

“If I was to go into labour tomorrow – it wouldn’t come straight on. So there wouldn’t be a problem with him missing the match," Amy said last night. 

Thankfully Amy got that bit out of the way early this morning for her hubby. She’s helpful like that.

Update: The Irish Independent is reporting that the couple have named their new bundle of joy 'Sadie.' Adorable!
