James Corden’s show confirms One Direction won’t be reuniting for final episode

Sorry to all Directioners out there.

The Late Late Show with James Corden has confirmed any Directioners’ biggest nightmare – One Direction won’t be reuniting for the final episode of the show.

Rumours have been swirling that Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik were all going to reunite for James Corden’s last ever episode of The Late Late Show.

James is set to step down from the chat show on April 27th and the last ever episode is expected to be the biggest yet, which is why many thought there was a chance of a One Direction reunion.

The five piece had been tipped to be part of the line up when gossip site DeuxMoi claimed they would all be in attendance – of course leading fans to go wild.

According to the site, all members of the band had a clear schedule for that day, with Louis having cancelled his tour in Asia last week while Harry doesn’t go back on tour until May.

Niall also has nothing booked until May while Zayn has a completely clear schedule for the time being. Liam’s next appearance is Soccer Aid in June.

One Direction fans really jumped to conclusions when this news broke but much to their dismay, The Late Late Show has since confirmed the boys will not be making an appearance.

Taking to the offical show Twitter account, an announcement read: “Nobody loves the boys more than us, but this [news] isn’t true.

“What is true is we’ve got an absolutely brilliant 2 hour finale planned to celebrate 8 years of The Late Late Show at 10pm on April 27th.”

Fans are devastated over the news, with some still being in denial about it all.

One said: “My toxic trait is believing they’ll still be on the show.”

Another said: “don’t worry, we do this to ourselves every year.”

A third added: “james kimberley corden OBE, no. the boys better be there and not be square.”
