It’s widely believed that Angelina Jolie began seeing Brad Pitt when he was still with Jennifer Aniston and the two women are rarely seen at the same event but it seems the war between the actresses is officially over.
Aniston was asked about the Maleficent star in an interview with ET this week and replied by saying she thought the talk of their rivalry was “slowly coming to an end”, going on to praise Jolie’s work on Louis Zamperini biopic Unbroken.
“I mean, that movie is so beautiful and wonderful, and she did such a gorgeous job. I think it’s time people stop with that petty B.S. and just start celebrating great work and stop with the petty kind of silliness,” she said.
“It’s just tiresome and old. It’s like an old leather shoe. Let’s buy a new pair of shiny shoes.”
Both Jolie and Aniston missed out on Oscar nominations this week, with the Friends star tipped for a nod for her role in Cake while Jolie was hoping to receive a nomination for Best Director or Best Picture for Unbroken.
