Justin Bieber’s going in a totally different direction with his next album

Fairly surprising turn of events, tbh.

Justin Bieber’s done a fair few things since releasing his last album.

He got back twith Selena Gomez. He threw some eggs at some people. He cancelled a tour and wrote a raw apology note apology note to his fans.

Busy enough like.

However, it turns out that Bieber has been trying to turn over a new leaf as of late and that apparently involves going to church every week and reconnecting with his faith.

And good for him – if you can chill out and find solace in religion and that makes you happy, then fair play.

This new spiritual vibe is also going to heavily influence the singer’s upcoming album too – essentially meaning that a lot of the songs are going to be “Christian appropriate.”

That’s the end of Love Yourself then.

A source close to the singer told The Sun that Bieber is “on the look out for songs that reflect where he is in his life in terms of his spirituality.”

They said:

“He has always been religious but the last two years have seen him grow closer to the Hillsong Church and it has changed his entire life. He has a totally different outlook now.

“His time with the church has revitalised him and although he is working with a lot of the same people who helped to make his last album, Purpose, he is reshaping his sound so it is more in line with the church’s values and beliefs.”

Good for him.

The source also said that two of the main themes in Bieber’s new music are love and redemption, which sounds just beautiful altogether.

We may be waiting a while until we get to hear these tracks though as Bieber apparently has plans to stay out of the limelight until later this year or even 2019.

We’ll be waiting patiently until then, so.
