A source close to the singer told The Sun that Bieber is "on the look out for songs that reflect where he is in his life in terms of his spirituality."
They said:
“He has always been religious but the last two years have seen him grow closer to the Hillsong Church and it has changed his entire life. He has a totally different outlook now.
"His time with the church has revitalised him and although he is working with a lot of the same people who helped to make his last album, Purpose, he is reshaping his sound so it is more in line with the church’s values and beliefs."
Good for him.
The source also said that two of the main themes in Bieber's new music are love and redemption, which sounds just beautiful altogether.
We may be waiting a while until we get to hear these tracks though as Bieber apparently has plans to stay out of the limelight until later this year or even 2019.
We'll be waiting patiently until then, so.
