Kanye West Snubs the MTV Video Music Awards Because he Doesn’t Want to go Without Kim Kardashian

Are Kanye West and Kim Kardashian slowly turning into the same person? Eh…yes, we’re inclined to think so. Why? Well, not only have they started dressing like twins, but now they’re also joined at the hip.

Kanye has reportedly pulled out of the MTV Video Music Awards at the last minute simply because his girlfriend Kim can’t attend.  Apparently Kanye doesn’t want to go to the ceremony at all if he doesn’t have Kim by his side. Intense relationship, much?

Kim is due to make an appearance at Fashion’s Night Out in New York this evening, where she’ll be busy promoting her new perfume.

“Kim’s in New York for her fragrance launch and Kanye didn’t want to go to the VMAs if she couldn’t be there,” said a source.

Kanye’s song Mercy is up for two awards, namely Best Hip-Hop Video and Best Editing, so we have to say, we’re pretty surprised that he isn’t happy to make an appearance at the music event of the year by himself.

But then again, given the fact that his last MTV VMA appearance landed him in some hot water ("I'MMA LET YOU FINISH BUT..."), maybe it’s a good idea if he stays away. Who knows? Maybe Kim can put him to work spraying people with her perfume in New York?
