Kate Winslet is stepping up to her lap of honour with news that she’s to be handed her very own Hollywood Walk of Fame star. (Yes, we were surprised she didn’t have one too!)
The actress, who has bagged an Oscar as well as Golden Globes, a Grammy and an Emmy, is set to be presented with the star next week by Titanic director James Cameron and Kate’s co-star in the film, Kathy Bates.
Ana Martinez, producer of the Walk of Fame ceremonies, said:
“We are so happy that Kate Winslet will be here on our famous Boulevard of dreams receiving her well-deserved star… We’ve seen Kate shine in her roles and fans around the world have been anxiously waiting for this special day to come.”
Kate joins screen legends Julianne Moore and Glee‘s iconic coach Jane Lynch, who have also recently been added to the Hollywood walk.
