Best of friends Kathryn Thomas and Síle Seooige have just shared the precious moment when their two newborn daughters met for the first time.
The presenters gave birth only weeks apart in 2021, when Kathryn welcomed her daughter Grace on October 26th 2021, and Síle having baby Clíondhna on November 11th.
Meeting up for lunch this week, they dubbed their daughters as “best buddies” showing a series of snaps of the little cuties on their outing.
“When lil pals meet for the first time” Síle shared via Instagram, showing off a black and white photo of her and Kathryn holding their little girls.
“There’s only 2 weeks between them…Grace (4 months) and Clíodhna (3.5) and they’re besties already.”
“Days like this are good for the soul.”

While Síle announced her pregnancy on Instagram back in June, Kathryn initially kept hers a secret, and because of the pandemic it made it easier to keep it under wraps.
“It was lovely to keep the news to ourselves for 20 weeks” Kathryn previously told RSVP Live.
“We shared the news at 14 or 15 weeks the last time so it was lovely to have that time with our families and not be out on show.”
Kathryn and Síle have been very close friends for the last number of years, after Síle asked Kathryn and a number of other celeb pals to record a charity single for Christmas in aid of the Make A Wish Foundation and the ISPCC’s Childline services all the way back in 2014.
Síle described Kathryn as “ballsy, kind, grounded, open-minded” when the Operation Transformation star took part in her podcast in 2020.
Kathryn and Síle both have two children and are even more alike as they are both working mums, with Kathryn continuing to present Operation Transformation and Sile continuing her success with her podcast series Ready To Be Real.
