Lily Allen has vowed to ‘tone down’ her stage show, after husband Sam Cooper asked her to think of her kids.
The singer plans to make her show more family-friendly when she returns to touring this year, after her partner urged her not to simulate oral sex with a microphone for her song Not Fair.
Speaking to The Sun, Lily said:
“He’s told me to tone it down now I’m a mum. On my last tour, when I sang Not Fair, I used to act out using my microphone. Recently I have been rehearsing for this new tour and Sam said, ‘You’re not doing that thing again are you?’
“I said not if he didn’t want me to. And he said no as he didn’t think it’s good for the kids’.”
The 28 year-old has two children – Ethel, two, and Marnie, 15 months – with hubby Sam Cooper.
