Liv and her partner David Gardner are said to have asked footballing legend David Beckham to be godfather to their son, who was born in February. Beckham pictured with sons Brooklyn, Cruz and Romeo. According to reports, Gardner and Beckham are said to be very good friends and that the couple believed there was no better man for the job. “Becks and Dave are close pals and go back years,” a source told The Sun. Beckham will reportedly be the baby's godfather. “They speak to each other all the time and their families are well connected. They were best men for each other’s weddings so are involved in their major events,” the insider continued. “Dave knows Becks will always be a great influence for his kids. He’s the perfect choice."
